Mitochondria & Cellular Metabolic Status Tes (Includes Consultation + Protocol)

Along with the Mitochondria Activity Test, we test further to include assessments of the cellular Metabolic Status. This 2-test combo includes:

1. Mitochondria Activity Test:

• Basal Respiration
• Maximum Respiration (maximum oxygen consumption)
• Maximum Reserve Capacity Factor
• Energy/ ATP Production

2. Cellular Metabolic Status Test

This assessment is a mitochondrial and glycolytic activity test that is used for the complete recording of cellular ATP production. It includes:

• The ratio of the amount of ATP production from the mitochondria to the amount of ATP production from glycolysis (alternative pathway). 
• Describes the compensatory glycolytic activity when mitochondrial function is impaired.
